What is your favorite genre of music?

My favourite genre of music is most probably classed as ‘Alternative’… but I do switch between many genres of music to listen to. Quite a few of my favourite bands and or singers are classed as Alternative, such as Twenty One Pilots and Lorde… But I will listen to pretty much anything that tickles my fancy at the time of listening.

I’m a writer, and I love to write (obviously right?!?) but I like to listen to music to write, it just helps my brain process the ideas and it makes the images of my stories come to life and play out in my mind like a movie.

• And many more but I’d be here all day listing them.

As you can see my listening list varies, this can be due to the type of writing I’m producing or the mood I’m in. I also take a lot of musical inspiration from my kids who also have totally different musical tastes to me but also end up becoming some of my favourites.
